An Amish woman and her daughter were riding in an old buggy one cold blustery day. The daughter said to her mother, "My hands are freezing cold."
The mother replied, "Put them between your legs.
Your body heat will warm them up."
The daughter did, and her hands warmed up. The next day the daughter was riding with her boy friend who said, "My hands are freezing cold."

The following day the daughter was driving in the buggy with her mother again, and she says to her mother, "Have you ever heard of a penis?"
Slightly concerned the mother said, "Why, yes.
Why do you ask?"
The daughter replies, "They make one hell of a mess when they defrost, don't they?"

as I approach my 27 anniversay on the 7th of next month, i truly wonder more and more...how the heck did i end up with this guy???He's for sure, Not the guy i I thought i married. we dated a year and he had me convinced, at the time, that he was a liberated man, who would share in the house work, (if i worked to make money too) and he said he liked "a little sports" he seemed as smart as Whitt back then...really smart, everyone used to say, boy that Dave is smart,or have you seen the shoulders on that guy, he's so strong..yep, to be 25 again....so nieve, so trusting....
I soon figured out that helping around the house consisted of him taking out the trash on trash days...I aslo figured out that he'd never had cable t.v. ( i wonder someties if he even had his own t.v. before he met me cause he traveled around a lot back in the 70's hitch hiking).. I'd say he's watched every single game that has played on t.v. and loves sports center etc...as the kids left home he started doing it more and more...and sees it as no habbit or addiction like he sees most of the things i do ....The past couple years he's been holding the clicker and falling alseep on the couch...just holding it like a passifier....and all night long while i'm trying to sleep in the next room, he wakes me up cause it drops out of his hand.falling onto a hardwood floor...i had to buy a new one last month.the old one was duck taped and still working but kept falling completly apart when he dropped it...but he doesn't seem to hold this one, as much as the other one...YET.
It's funny, i see people who's been together 50 years and wonder, how did they ever make it that long..wonder what stories they could tell us...( most would say is "don't do it") I'm sure.
Today beat everything....last night i had a flea bite me, so i got out my old remedy of putting water and dish soap in a white bowl, and sittin it on the floor, where the cats usually sit.and for some reason them stupid fleas just jump into the water and drown, and no chemicals....well around 10:30 this morning...Hubby says...your blood pressure thingie fell into the water last night and i took it
out.....cat knocked it off the table. ( said it was my fault for leaving it there) but everything seems to be my fault in his life ...i hate those cats.......
anyway i picked it up, still in it's case and it was full of water...i said..why didn't you open it up and let the water out????? He said,I just got it out of the water...( I think alhzimers sets in around his age doesn't it??? ...) so now i took the batteries out and have it drying in the sun. and i'm mad as hell....

my sister in law from North Carolina sent me this..i thought it was cute and fit my life pretty good these days.....

I was thinkin today, riding in the car....About the show "The Brady Bunch" i guess i got to thinkin about it cause i watched a re-run last night..Ya know, she had 3 kids by a dead husband and he had 3 kids by a dead wife.. that's social security for 6 kids!!! i wondered how thy had so much money and a maid.....they had it made.

I was wondering today, where does time go? I remember when i was in my 20's and 30's it seemed to go so slow..Days was nice, sitting outside in the sun, picking berries and making jelly. Hubby and me used to really chase them sunsets back then. I have loads of photos i could share if i only had a scanner. nice pretty ones..I was always a picture hound, even before I got this computor ( buy no more batteries or develop a film) camera..I've had it a year and I truly love that little thing..It feels like magic..and I can't get enough of taking pictures. I see pictures everywhere.
Summer will be here soon, and I wish 3 things..that the war will end, the real ecconamy will improve ( not the one Bush keeps saying is doing great) and that Peace will come to everyone, in all ways.
I won't be able to spend 10 hours a day on here anymore, I do craft shows and summer just flys by me. But i do intend to keep posting pic's ..especially of sunsets, barns, graveyards and old buildings...
Mothers day made me Sad.. I truly miss my grandma.
